Professions

Professions are a new feature to FutureRP. A player is able to learn any number of professions, without limit. Currently supported/incoming professions are:

• Fishing - the ability to retrieve things from bodies of water.
• Mining - allows a player to extract crystals and ore from deposits.
• Engineering - the creation of Items from raw materials and blueprints.
• Botany - the collection of plant life.
• Under construction - incomplete list.

Learning Professions

Professions are typically learned from special NPCs known as Trainers. You have to speak to a trainer to gain each level of mastery. There are five levels of mastery for every profession.

• Apprentice
• Journeyman
• Expert
• Artisan
• Master

You begin at apprentice level and work your way up. Sometimes a trainer can train more than one level.

Managing Professions

Every profession you have learned is listed on the Manage Professions page (typically under World on the menu). Some Professions have their own special control panel, which can be accessed via this page.
